Lake Washington 130 Homes

Introduction (Excerpts)
Lake Washington and Its Homes

Lake Washington is the most beautiful large lake in the center of a major US metropolitan area.  Gorgeous homes and their lush landscaping add to the marvel of cruising the lake’s waterfront. . . Waterfront residents enjoy . . . activities with their watercraft.  Lakefront residents enjoy a short commute to . . . and they have their evening and weekend lake retreat.  It is no wonder this property is so desirable! . . . In May 2009 there were eleven single family residences for sale with asking prices greater than $9 million in the Seattle area.  All of them are Lake Washington waterfront properties and are on our tour.  All of the area’s members of Forbes’ 2008 list of “The 400 Richest Americans” are on our tour.

Our tour of 130 waterfront homes takes us along thirty miles of the lake’s shoreline . . .
We start our tour at the 520 Bridge on the eastside of Seattle where many of the city’s wealthy resided in the 1800s and early 1900s . . . I named this the “Emerald Coast” of the Emerald City. . . We continue to Mercer Island, the “Diamond Coast” of the diamond in Lake Washington. . . We cross from Mercer Island to the “Ruby Coast” of The Eastside.  This is locally known as the “Gold Coast” of Lake Washington.

The San Francisco Bay metropolitan area has its Silicon Valley of mansions and estates.  A tour involves driving hundreds of miles of roads to view protective gates, trees and shrubs.  The Seattle/Lake-Washington metropolitan area has its Gemstone Waterfront Valley of mansions and estates.  A tour is cruising thirty miles of a beautiful lake while viewing the prime side of the homes, grounds and waterfront.
